For patients who cannot tolerate or want a denture the implant support bridge is a viable solution. Over the past 50 years its delivery has evolved from a staged process taking more than a year to an immediate process. This presentation explores the evolution and challenges of the changes in treatment protocols and the current state of the art (AuDentes) with particular emphasis on patient selection and clinical appropriateness.
Speaker Bio: Philip works as a specialist prosthodontist working primarily in private practice. Other jobs include being a consultant for the Royal Children’s Hospital, a journal reviewer and consultant for AHPRA. He also loves technology particularly if it helps his patients.
