Concerns:

  • Unrestorable upper right central incisor due to crown-root fracture below gum and bone level and has an infected root canal treatment.
Management:
  • Atraumatic tooth extraction, bone graft and surgical implant placement by a specialist periodontist.
  • Construction of temporary suspension bridge and final implant supported crown for the replacement of upper right central incisor.
  • Collaborative specialist effort has resulted in an ideal “tooth crown” and “gum” architecture, hence a natural and aesthetically or cosmetically pleasing result in a patient with a high smile lip line.
