Since the introduction of osseointegrated dental implants in the 1960s, the scope of implant prosthodontic rehabilitation has been dramatically increased. It has added to the previously limited options of conventional tooth supported dental bridges and removable dentures. With high implant survival rates reported, implant treatment has continued to provide a promising alternative for many patients with missing tooth/teeth.
Before dental implant treatment, our clinicians at Perth Prosthodontics must first diagnose all the aesthetic / cosmetic concerns, functional (eating, chewing, speech) needs and assess gum and bone volume available using dental xrays, CBCT/CTscan and digital integration with intraoral surface scans.
Our clinicians at Perth Prosthodontics have undertaken formal advanced postgraduate training and have an in-depth understanding on the art, science and theory behind dental implant treatment.
